Danettes’ Front post dc blanket
ROW 1 Dc in 4th chain from hook and in each chain across ch 2
Row 2 chain 2 counts as first dc, dc in next 4 (you should have 5 sts) dc front post around next st. Dc in next 5 sts dc fp around next st, repeat all the way across ch 2
Repeat row 2 to desired length.
Trim, 2 dc in each dc row on both sides, 5 dc in corners and 1 dc in each st across top and bottom
Multiples of 4 G or H hook
I chained 88 with H hook
Row 1 Dc in 4th chain from hook and in each chain across. CH 2 Turn
ROW 2 . Dc in each st across ch 2 turn
Row 3. Sk 1 st 3 dc in next st, (shell made) skip 2 sts shell in next st. repeat across to last 2 stitches. Skip 1 dc in next st ch 2 turn
Repeat pattern till you get the desired length you want. I did 50 rows, then did a dc border
RUTHS’ RIPPLE/V-ST BLANKET
Ch is multiple of 14 + 11
Ch 95-109-123 (NB size)-137
v-st – 2 dc in next st
Work ripple sts in back loops only throughout.
Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next 2 chs, 3 dc in next ch, dc in each of next 4 ch, *(skip 1 ch, v-st in next ch) 2x, skip next ch, dc in next 4 chs, 3 dc in next ch, dc in next 4 chs, rpt from * across, ch 2 turn.
Row 2: Skip 2nd st (1st dc), dc in next 3 dc, 3 dc in next dc, dc in next 4 dc, *(skip 1 dc, and 1st dc of v-st, dc in middle of v-st, skip 2nd dc of v-st) 2x, skip next dc, dc in next 4 dc, 3 dc in next dc, dc in next 4 dc, rpt from * across to last 5 sts, 1 dc in next 3 dc, skip 1 dc, dc in turning chain, ch 2, turn.
Repeat Row 2 for pat.
Edging: Dc in ripple pattern across top and bottom, dc in each dc in v-sts, 4 dc in each corner, 2 dc in end of each row on sides.
