Row 1.) With size F Hook, ch 40, dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next 5 ch, *(1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in next ch)*, dc in next 6 ch, repeat *( )*, dc in next 10 ch, repeat *( )*, dc in next 6 ch, repeat *( )*, dc in last 6 ch.
Row 2.) Ch 2, turn, *(dc to next ch sp, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in ch sp,)* Repeat to end.
Rows 3.-5.) Repeat row 2
Row 6.) ch 2, turn, dc to ch sp, 1 dc in ch sp, Ch 6, skip sts to next ch sp, 1 dc in ch sp, dc to next ch sp, 1 dc in ch sp, Ch 6, skip next sts to next ch sp, 1 dc in ch sp, dc to end. ( Armholes made)
Row 7.) ch 1, turn, sc across.

Row 9-15.) ch 2 turn, sk 1 dc, *dc in next st, dc in skipped st, repeat from * dc in last dc.
Sleeves
Row 1.) Attach Yarn under arm, ch 2, do 27 dc around armhole evenly, sl st in top of first ch 2. (28 st, counting ch 2)
Row 2.) Ch 2, turn, DC in each st around, sl st in top of first ch 2.
Rows 3.-7.) Repeat Row 2.
Row 8.) ch 1, turn, sc in first st *(Decrease sc over next 2 st, sc in next st)*, repeat around.
REPEAT FOR SECOND SLEEVE.

Trim
At the end of row 15, sc up this side 3 sc in corner, sc around neck to next corner, 3 sc in corner, sc in next st, *(ch 3 sc in same st,)*, sc in next 2 st, repeat *( )*, sc in next 2 st, repeat *( )*, sc to the end, sl st in last st, fasten off, weave in end. 3 Button holes made. (of course you may trim this the way you would like to)
Attach buttons on opposite side of buttonholes.

I made this with Red Heart Baby Soft and a G hook and it measures 19" x 19". If you would like to make it bigger add multiples of 7 and increase your rows to make it square.

Trim
ch 1, turn to go up the side do 2 sc in the end of the dc rows to the top, 3 sc in corner, sc around neck to next corner, 3 sc in corner, do 2 sc in the end of the dc rows to the bottom, fasten off, weave in end. (of course you may trim this the way you would like to)
Ties:
Ch 35 sl st to the top right corner, sl st down the side to the bottom of the bodice, ch 35, end. For the left side I ch 35, sl st to the bottom of the bodice and sl st to the top, ch 35, end. I tie the ends with a tight knot making sure to catch the loose yarn and then cut the excess yarn off.

the sleeves should measure 4 inches from under the arm , so do the number of rows you need to till you get the 4 inches.depends on yarn & tension
Row 1.) Attach Yarn under arm, ch 2, do 23 dc around armhole evenly, sl st in top of first ch 2. (24 st, counting ch 2)
Row 2.) Ch 2, turn, DC in each st around, sl st in top of first ch 2.
Rows 3.-9.) Repeat Row 2.
Row 10.) ch 1, turn, sc in first st *(Decrease sc over next 2 st, sc in next st)*, repeat around.
Row 11.) ch 1, turn, sc in each st across, sl st to join. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Row 3.) SK first st * DC in next 2 st, 3 DC in next st, DC in next 2 st, SK next 2 st * repeat across ending with SK 1 st, DC in top of turning CH. CH 2, turn.(increases will always be in center st.)
Rows 4-7.) Repeat rows 2 & 3(skipping the first dc, dc to center st for increase)
Row 8.)
