Work ripple sts in back loops only throughout.
Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next 2 chs, 3 dc in next ch, dc in each of next 4 ch, *(skip 1 ch, v-st in next ch) 2x, skip next ch, dc in next 4 chs, 3 dc in next ch, dc in next 4 chs, rpt from * across, ch 2 turn.
Row 2: Skip 2nd st (1st dc), dc in next 3 dc, 3 dc in next dc, dc in next 4 dc, *(skip 1 dc, and 1st dc of v-st, dc in middle of v-st, skip 2nd dc of v-st) 2x, skip next dc, dc in next 4 dc, 3 dc in next dc, dc in next 4 dc, rpt from * across to last 5 sts, 1 dc in next 3 dc, skip 1 dc, dc in turning chain, ch 2, turn.
Repeat Row 2 for pat.
Edging: Dc in ripple pattern across top and bottom, dc in each dc in v-sts, 4 dc in each corner, 2 dc in end of each row on sides.
I crochet for a charity group that crochets for preemies , which numbers are for the chain that would be for preemie size , I really love this blanket =) and know it will bless many moms and their preemies.
